Snow Day
Isabella Boylston
Short Film, 2015
Live Action Direction, Edit
Overview
Sometimes nature provides unexpected gifts. Isabella and I had planned to shoot a short film contrasting her disciplined routine as a principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre and her warm, disarming persona off-stage. Then it snowed. A lot. But we really like how it turned out.

One of my favorite parts of this city is just after the snow first fall and the streets are blanketed in white. So while the rest of the city was hibernating, American Ballet Theater principal Isabella Boylston and I took to the streets to see what we could capture in our favorite backdrop.
